Weight Watchers Diets
This worldwide company has a four part approach to weight loss:
- Food
- Exercise
- Behaviour
- Support

They promote the idea of long term weight loss which then becomes a life time habit. Part of this approach is their ‘points system’ in which food is allocated a number of points based upon the calories and saturated fat within that food.
The lower the fat and calories the lower the points value.
They have a total number of points for different bodyweights:
Less than 68kg: 18 to 23 points
68 to 79kg: 20 to 25 points
80 to 90kg: 22 to 27 points
You can eat more of those foods which have a lower points value than a higher one. For example, a small apple has 1 point whereas a cheeseburger has 8 points
