What are the risks of Conductive Keratoplasty - CK?
CK is a very safe procedure and countless numbers of patients are very satisfied with the results.
No surgical procedure is risk free. There is always the chance of things going wrong although this tends to be quite rare.
With CK; the treatment does not involve the surgeon cutting or removing any corneal tissue which means virtually no side effects. The only possible complication is that of a slight distortion in vision which means further surgery.
But, once again this is very rare.
