A29. It is possible to cover a black tattoo with a colour although darker colours work better than light colours.

Basically if you have a small black tattoo then a large area of colour will probably work but not vice versa.

If your current tattoo is faded then this makes things easier but if you have a large solid black tattoo or lettering then this may not be possible.

Speak to a reputable tattoo parlour that will be able to advise you if this is possible or not. Some black tattoos cannot be covered by a colour.
