Q15 How does tattoo removal cream work?

A15. These work by causing your body’s immune system to react to the cream by expelling this along with the tattoo pigments. Your body rejects this ink and then heals itself by the formation of a scab.

The cream softens the pigments before ‘pushing’them out onto the surface of the skin. A scab then forms which falls off after eight weeks, taking the pigments with it.
