Clear & Simple
Clear & Simple is a popular, well-trusted brand, which offers excellent value for money in the market of pregnancy tests. Their competitive and trustworthy selection of pregnancy tests has made it a favourite amongst many women. The Clear & Simple range includes pregnancy tests and an ovulation test. The tests are designed to be easy to use and produce results very quickly.
Clear & Simple tests work by detecting the pregnancy hormone in the urine as you will find is the case with all other pregnancy tests. The Clear & Simple selection of pregnancy tests can detect the hormone as early as seven days after conception to give you results quickly.
Details of the Clear & Simple range of tests are outlined below:
Clear & Simple Home Pregnancy Test
Clear & Simple home pregnancy tests have been specially designed to be extremely easy to use and are sensitive enough to detect low levels of the pregnancy hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin); the hormone is secreted when the egg is fertilised and traces can be detected in the urine and blood. The levels of the hormone increase considerably each day, so tests are usually more accurate if they are taken after the first day of your missed period. The tests can detect low levels of HCG so you can take it before this time.
The Clear & Simple home pregnancy test is very easy to use and has a clear method of indicating the results; once you have done the test, the results will appear in the window after around two minutes. One line will indicate a negative result and two lines will indicate a positive result. Negative results are less reliable than positive results, as the test may not detect very low levels of the pregnancy hormone; it is advisable to repeat the test after a few days if you have got a negative result, as HCG levels should be higher then.
Clear & Simple tests are available in double packs; these are more economical and enable you to do a repeat test.
Clear & Simple LH Ovulation Fertility test
The Clear & Simple LH Ovulation Fertility test enables women to monitor their fertility and identify when they are due to ovulate; during ovulation, fertility reaches its peak and it is more likely that having sex during this time will result in conception.
The Clear & Simple LH ovulation test works by monitoring the levels of LH (luteinising hormone) in the urine; LH is always present in the urine, but the levels increase slightly before ovulation. The test detects this rise and subsequently shows a positive result in the results window.
The test is easy to use and is beneficial for couples who are trying to conceive; research suggests that many couples who are having problems conceiving are simply having sex on the wrong days of the menstrual cycle and this can reduce the possibility of them conceiving a baby.
