What happens at the booking visit with the midwife?
The midwife or doctor will discuss what vitamins to take during the early stages of pregnancy, such as Folic acid and will give you further information about pregnancy and the various stages. A booking visit is a risk assessment which will outline factors such as your health, diet, any illnesses and several other factors surrounding your lifestyle. You may be given a pregnancy record folder to bring with you to every check up to assess your baby’s size and your blood pressure and overall well being.
