I just found out that I am pregnant. When will my first appointment with the midwife be?
Once you have visited the doctor to confirm your pregnancy the doctor will then arrange a ‘booking visit’ with the midwife at around 6-8 weeks into your pregnancy. The booking visit will be your first official appointment with the midwife to discuss your health and general well being.
