Exercise during Pregnancy
Keeping fit and healthy during pregnancy will help you be ready for the physical and mental challenges that you are likely to be put through during labour. Exercise is beneficial in obtaining a healthy body, good skin and revived energy. Pregnancy does not prevent you from doing exercise; however, any type of exercise you wish to take part in during pregnancy should be discussed with your doctor or midwife. Your doctor will be able to advise you whether the type of exercise is suitable for your individual circumstances.
