Packing checklist
Aside from all the obvious things like plenty of clothes, there are a few things you need to remember to pack to make your life easier when you get to your destination, especially if you’re going abroad:
For the journey:
- Plenty of toys and books
- First aid kit (which should include plasters, bandages, sterile dressings, antiseptic cream and wipes, painkillers and any medication that your child takes on a regular basis (plus a spare- for example, if they have asthma it is advisable to take a spare inhaler with you)
- Nappies and wipes (if your child is still using nappies)
- Nappy bags (for disposing of nappies)
For when you get there:
- Plenty of high factor sun cream
- A sun hat
- Armbands or a rubber ring
- Bottles or cups
- A car seat (if you are planning on hiring a car)
- Plenty of spare clothes
