Health during pregnancy
If you decide to go ahead with your pregnancy you need to make sure you take care of yourself; here a few tips to boost your health:
- Take antenatal vitamins, including folic acid supplements
- Switch your diet (if you don’t already eat healthily) to include plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
- Get plenty of rest
- Avoid stressful situations
- Give up smoking and drinking and avoid taking drugs
- Have an STI test as soon as you find out that you are pregnant
- Ask any questions and talk about any worries or concerns you have with your GP or midwife
