Q13. Can you treat mouth ulcers at home?
A13. If you have a minor ulcer then in most cases this will disappear after a week to ten days. This type of ulcer doesn’t usually require any treatment and will heal on its own.
You can purchase an over the counter remedy such as Bonjela which will aid with healing.
But if your mouth ulcers last for more than two weeks or become larger and more painful then see your GP or dentist.
