Q15. Can you prevent mouth ulcers?
A15. We cannot stop mouth ulcers from occurring but there are a few measures you can adopt to reduce the risk of persistent mouth ulcers. These include brushing and flossing your teeth on a regular basis, limiting your intake of certain foods, e.g. cheese or coffee and changing your lifestyle if necessary (i.e. reduce stress levels).
