Are there any ways to prevent miscarriage?
It is not possible to prevent miscarriage and you shouldn’t blame yourself if you do have a miscarriage. There are some steps you can take to reduce the risk of having a miscarriage, including:
- Stop smoking as soon as you learn that you pregnant
- Stop drinking alcohol
- Avoid taking drugs
- Get plenty of rest
- Eat healthily and take folic acid supplements
- Cut down on caffeine and drink plenty of water
