It is used in a variety of ways which include:
- Smoked as a cigarette (combined with tobacco as a 'joint or spliff').
- Smoked on its own via an empty cigar case (known as a 'blunt).
- Smoked in a bong (or water pipe)
- Marijuana is heated between two knives and the vapours inhaled (known as 'hot knives').
- Brewed in tea
- Added to food to make 'hash cake' and 'hash cookies'
