Gamete Intra-Fallopian Transfer or Zygote Intra-Fallopian Transfer?
GIFT or gamete intra-fallopian transfer is less costly and comes with fewer risks than ZIFT, such as multiple births and ectopic pregnancies.
It can be better to try GIFT first and then ZIFT if that is unsuccessful, but again, it all depends on your type of fertility problem. Your specialist may recommend ZIFT as an initial option because of the nature of your problem.
