Can natural remedies help with fertility?
There are natural remedies such as acupuncture or herbs which can be used to enhance your fertility or as a supplement to IVF or some other infertility treatment.
Acupuncture is said to help by reducing stress levels which can affect ovulation.
Herbs such as chasteberry, black cohosh and primrose oil may help to reduce the side effects of fertility drugs, regulate prolactin levels and improve cervical mucus so that it’s less hostile to the movement of sperm.
Their effectiveness is still open to debate so it’s probably a good idea to discuss this with your GP first before taking any of these.
