A8. Yes. You may have secondary hyperhidrosis ' a form of excessive sweating which is caused by a medical condition such as diabetes, hyperthyroidism or rheumatoid arthritis.
Another possible cause is medication. There are certain types of medicine which cause excessive sweating which include antidepressants and beta blockers.
