Synthetic hair wig
This is a cheaper and easier option than a human hair wig. Synthetic wigs are made from man-made fibres and whilst they are less expensive than human hair wigs you will have to pay more if you want a natural looking wig.
Basically, a better quality wig will closely resemble human hair but be prepared to pay more.
These wigs require much less upkeep than human hair wigs as they tend to hold shape well after washing. They snap back into shape after hair washing and can be said to be a ‘wash and go’ type of wig.
However, there are disadvantages to these wigs. For a start you cannot change the colour as this has been factory set, which equally applies to the style. If you want to change the style you will have to return it to the wig manufacturer for them to do so.
If you are not sure which wig to go for then speak to a wig specialist as they can advise you about suitable styles and which is the right wig for you.
The next question is where to buy a wig?
