Q1. What is cradle cap?
A1. Cradle cap or to give it it’s medical name ‘infantile seborrhoeic dermatitis’ is a skin condition which affects babies. It is a temporary condition which is harmless and in most cases, settles down over time.Cradle cap usually develops at the age of three months and clears up once the baby is one or two years old.
It takes the form of a scaly rash which appears on the baby’s scalp.
