Q20. What is home blood pressure monitoring?
A20 . This is as the name says. It is a form of blood pressure recording which can be done using a monitor which is designed to be used at home.
It is very useful for people who experience white coat hypertension when they undergo a blood pressure check at their local surgery.
Plus it is handy for your GP or practice nurse to monitor your blood pressure over a period of time, and to see if it is reducing due to taking medication.
