Q6. What is heat rash?
A6. Prickly heat rash occurs if your baby becomes overheated, enabling a rash to develop in those parts of his/her body where sweat has become trapped.
This appears as small, red bumps or blisters.
Heat rash can also be caused by wearing too many layers of clothing or if your baby is running a temperature.
These tend to be itchy rather than painful and are not contagious.
