Q14. What are disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs?
A14. These are known as ‘DMARDs’ for short: they are used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and help to relieve many of its symptoms.
They ease the pain, stiffness and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis.
