How is hay fever diagnosed?
Sometimes you might not need to see a doctor for problems caused by hay fever. It is not difficult to self diagnose, if you have seen a repeating pattern of nose and eye problems during spring or summer for the past few years.
If you decide to see a doctor, they will probably be able to diagnose you without any special investigations. Investigations might be used to confirm a diagnosis, but they are not so important in the diagnosis of hay fever and are covered in the article titled “Investigations.”
