What is gravitational eczema?
Gravitational eczema is rare, and typically affects the lower legs. It occurs in people with damage to their blood vessels, as blood remains in the legs and struggles to get back to the heart. This can often be due to faulty veins (such as varicose veins). Compression stockings can force fluid back up the veins out of your legs.
