Is there anything I need to do before I start my medication? - Allergy treatments
If you have bought your medication over the counter, it is important that you read the label carefully to find out exactly how much drug you should take, and how often you should take it. You might consider having a talk to your doctor about any possible interactions between drugs too. If you have been prescribed a drug, your doctor should have taken all this into consideration.
Caution like this is generally not needed for skin creams, moisturisers, and nasal decongestants, however, it might still be a good idea to read the information on the label. Do not buy medications over the counter which contain ingredients you are allergic to!
