What is the thigh lift procedure?

This surgery can take three hours to perform and is done under a general anaesthetic. You may have to stay overnight in hospital although some patients return home on the same day. Your surgeon will be able to advise you about this.

Your surgeon will try to ensure that the incisions are hidden by your clothing although this cannot be guaranteed. The resulting scars will be hidden by some articles of clothing apart from swimwear or shorts.

He or she will remove excess fat and skin from the thighs which will help to tighten up any sagging folds, improving the tone and appearance in general.
