What can go wrong wuth thigh lift surgery?

Thigh lift surgery is a safe procedure that has been performed many times. Complications are possible although this tends to be rare.

Complications happen with any form of surgery and can include a bad reaction to the anaesthetic, bleeding or infection, haematoma (blood clot under the skin), pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs) and thigh numbness.

These will be discussed with you, along with the benefits of surgery when you first talk to your surgeon.
