If you are looking at a private clinic or surgeon then prices will differ between them. Each surgeon will have their own individual fees and there are the anaesthetist’s fees to take into account. These too will vary.

There are also the costs of the nursing care, any equipment or surgical items, aftercare etc. So, prices will differ from one surgeon to another.

However, as a general guide, breast reduction surgery can cost from £3,500 to £5,500.

As this condition can cause physical and/or mental problems then the NHS may pay for it.

Note the word 'may': if it is seen as a medical necessity then they will cover the costs. You will have to pass a series of guidelines as well as a meeting with healthcare professionals but this is a cosmetic procedure that the NHS will pay for.
