What is the teeth whitening procedure?
This depends on whether you have chosen in-surgery treatment or a home whitening kit.
If you have opted for in-surgery (‘in-house’) treatment then this will take the form of laser or light treatment. Both of these involve the application of a whitening gel which is activated by a handheld laser or light. This helps to speed up the whitening process.
To learn more visit our section on In-house whitening.
With a home whitening kit you are given custom made bleaching trays to wear on your teeth for 14 days. The day after, you return to your dentist for a deep bleaching session which completes the process.
There are different types of home whitening kits to choose from. To learn more about these and this treatment in general visit our home whitening kit section.
