Q3. I have sensitive teeth; which is the best toothpaste for me?
A3. If you find that your teeth hurt when you eat or drink something hot/cold then you need to speak to your dentist. You may have a condition called ‘dentine hypersensitivity’ which means that the dentine of the root of your tooth is exposed.
If this is the case then you will require a filling of some other form of treatment. Your dentist will advise you to use a sensitive teeth type of toothpaste which is less harsh than conventional versions.
Examples of this include Sensodyne and Colgate Pro-relief.
