Q12. Does flossing hurt?
A12. It shouldn’t do but if you pull the floss forcefully between your teeth then it can irritate the gums. You may experience some soreness and bleeding as a result.
Your gums will be sore the first time you use floss but this will stop after a few days. Any persistent soreness or bleeding needs to be dealt with by your dentist.
